About the Ski Rider Club

The Ski Rider Club is ideal for children who want to ski regularly. It runs in La Clusaz throughout the season. From the age of 3 and a half, young skiers can join a group suited to their age and level, from their very first slides right up to Freeride level. Groups of 6 to 8 children maximum allow our instructors to track each child’s progress while keeping a friendly, energetic atmosphere. The Ski Rider Club offers the perfect setting to improve at skiing, gain independence and grow in confidence on the slopes of La Clusaz.

About the Freeski groups

From the Or (Gold) level onwards, children can join the Ski Rider Club Freeski groups. Made up of 4 levels, defined according to age, technical ability and personal expectations, these groups are designed for skiers who want to develop their technique and discover a more varied approach to skiing. Freeski combines Freeride and Freestyle — two disciplines that are now complementary and inseparable.

True to the ESi spirit, progress is made here without stress or exams: for many children, the medals are already far behind, and the goal is above all to keep exploring and having fun. However, those who wish to can raise their game and take part in selected competitions. For the older ones, the focus shifts towards off-piste independence, backed up by snow and avalanche training — a key safety foundation.
