La Clusaz, a village resort in the heart of the Aravis
Located in Haute-Savoie, at the foot of the Aravis mountain range, La Clusaz enjoys a privileged location between Annecy, Geneva, the Mont Blanc massif and the vast Alpine landscapes. The resort offers an exceptional natural environment, with its mountain bowls, alpine meadows and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
But La Clusaz is about more than just its ski area. The village has preserved its authentic mountain identity, with its chalets, farms and traditional architecture adding to its charm. This lively village atmosphere, combined with a wide range of family-friendly services and its Famille Plus label, makes it a particularly enjoyable destination for sharing the mountains with the whole family.
At an altitude of between 1,100 and 2,600 metres, the La Clusaz ski area offers a varied playground with 85 pistes, from first runs to challenging descents for the most experienced skiers. Renowned for its generous snowfall throughout the season, the Aravis mountain range offers excellent snow conditions from December to April. Beginners can enjoy suitable, safe areas accessible from the village or higher up the mountain, such as the Beauregard plateau and Crêt du Loup. Looking for more adventure? Off-piste skiing and high-mountain routes reveal the full potential of the ski area. Explore the Alpine bowls and peaks on snowshoes or skis, including the famous Combe de Balme, the birthplace of freeskiing.
