Teen Group Lessons

Looking for something a little different from traditional ski lessons? Join the ESi La Clusaz teen camps! These group lessons bring together young people aged 12–16 in groups of up to 8 participants, led by a qualified ski instructor. With a lively, friendly atmosphere and activities tailored to their interests, the aim is to enjoy snow sports in a different way, develop their skills and make the most of the La Clusaz ski area.

And to round off the week in style, all the teen groups come together for a big afternoon snack at the end of the week — the perfect opportunity for riders to share their favourite moments from the camp!

Three Options

Snowboard Group — all levels, from your first turns to your first jumps for more experienced snowboarders.

Tribu Group — for skiers from Cristal de Vermeil level (or equivalent). Enjoy a flexible week whose programme is planned together with the instructor and the group. Activities may include exploring the ski area, skiing through the forest, an introduction to off-piste skiing, Yooner sledging, Wingjump, avalanche transceiver searches, and ski waxing and edge-sharpening workshops. The programme varies according to the weather, snow conditions and the group’s interests.

💡 Good to know: subject to availability, teens from other groups may be able to join a Tribu Group activity — for example, a Yooner session. Ask your instructors at the beginning of the week!

Freeski Group — combine freestyle and freeride, with jumps, tricks, spins, untouched terrain and powder runs, always adapted to the conditions and the group’s ability.

Prices & Schedules

Teen camps run during French school holiday weeks. Each option includes several sessions with a group of young people of a similar age and ability.

Winter holidays (Sunday to Friday)

When booking, be sure to check the timings for your chosen option and dates. Please arrive a few minutes early at the meeting point in front of La Patinoire.

Equipment and Ski Pass

Each participant must bring their own ski or snowboard equipment, a helmet — compulsory throughout all activities —, a ski pass and clothing suitable for winter conditions. The meeting point is in front of La Patinoire, where the groups set off.

ESi provides special equipment: Yooners for Tribu Group activities, and avalanche safety kits (transceiver, shovel and probe) for Freeski sessions whenever required.

There are no bibs or medals for these camps: the main aim is to share new experiences and enjoy different snow sports together.

Keep Improving with Private Lessons

Outside school holidays, teens who want to continue developing their skills can book private ski or snowboard lessons. This is an ideal option for personalised coaching and working towards specific technical goals.

Insurance

Before the camp begins, please check that your insurance covers any potential cancellations, accidents or illness.
