The Mice Club

Pioneers in La Clusaz in introducing little ones to skiing directly on the slopes, Club Souris welcomes your children to the Beauregard plateau, an ideal area for their very first steps on skis.

Really small groups: a maximum of 6 children, often supported by assistant instructors — ensuring quality guidance and genuine individual attention for every child.

Easy access: the little Souris meet at the foot of the gondola lift. No need to carry the children during their first few days: our team takes care of their skis, so the children can save their energy for skiing.

Continuous assessment, with no final test: our instructors recognise and celebrate each child’s progress throughout the sessions, without putting them under pressure. At the end of the course, each child receives a medal to reward their progress — a lovely keepsake of their experience in La Clusaz.

Two Levels Available

Green Mice — ages 3½ to 5

Who is it for? I’ve never skied before, or I have my Snowman / White Mice badge (or equivalent level).

What’s on the programme? Your very first skiing experiences at Mice Club — learning to recognise your equipment, gliding gently and discovering the snowplough for slowing down and stopping on purpose, through games and fun instructions.

Blue Mice — ages 5 to 6

Who is it for? I’ve never skied before, or I have my Blue Mice badge (or equivalent level). I may have a little experience: a few days discovering skiing at Mice Club or on the slopes.

What’s on the programme? Becoming a confident little mouse — practising the snowplough serpentine (gliding, turning, slowing down and stopping) and learning to use the ski lifts to explore the green runs, linking together their first turns.

The Blue Mice is the final Mice Club level: after that, it’s time for the Cristaux!

Equipment and Ski Pass

Your child should arrive with their full equipment (skis, boots, helmet, goggles or sunglasses), their ski pass and a small snack that fits in their pocket — to keep their energy up between activities. All meeting points are at La Patinoire, in front of the sign corresponding to their lesson.

There are three ski pass options:

Option 1: The ESI Pack (lessons + ski pass)

Ages 5 and over: 6-day ski pass for €103 (pass card included, insurance not included), available when booking online or directly at the ski school.

⚠️ This is a beginner ski pass: it restricts access to certain areas of the ski resort. It is entirely sufficient for Club Souris.

Option 2: The under-5 ski pass

Free but mandatory for children under 5. It must be collected from the resort ticket offices upon presentation of proof of age.

Option 3: The standard ski pass

Would you prefer a pass that allows you to go anywhere in the ski area? Choose a standard ski pass at the resort’s usual prices, available from the Société des Remontées Mécaniques ticket offices and online.
