About Paragliding in La Clusaz

The activity is available from the age of 10 and is open to people of all skiing levels, provided they can perform a snowplough turn and keep their skis parallel. Depending on the conditions on the day and the type of take-off, the flight may begin on foot or on skis. Your instructor will guide you through every step and adapt the flight to the conditions.

Starting from €75, this experience can also be given as a gift with a gift voucher — a wonderful way to introduce someone special to paragliding in La Clusaz.

Paragliding flights depend on weather conditions and instructor availability. Wind, visibility and local flying conditions can change rapidly in the mountains. Your instructor assesses these factors before every flight and decides whether conditions are safe for take-off. If the weather is unsuitable, the scheduled time may be changed or the flight postponed.

What to Expect During Your Paragliding Flight in La Clusaz

Meet directly at the paragliding launch site. Please arrive early enough to receive your instructor’s briefing and get your equipment ready before take-off. When booking, contact the ski school to check available time slots and arrange your paragliding flight in La Clusaz.

To enjoy your flight comfortably, wear clothing suited to the mountains and the weather conditions, along with footwear that allows you to walk comfortably if taking off on foot. A helmet is compulsory throughout the activity. For flights taking off on skis, your ski equipment must also be suitable for your ability and the planned activity.

Prices start from €75, including a tandem paragliding flight with a qualified instructor. After the flight, you may be offered the option to purchase an SD card containing photos and videos of your experience.
