About the Activity
Looking for a fun activity in La Clusaz with plenty of thrills? Try Yooner sledging! Sitting just 20 cm above the ground, a Yooner looks like a mini snow kart and offers a unique way to enjoy the slopes. Easy to get the hang of and great fun, it lets you experience the thrill of gliding down the mountain in no time. Its lightweight design, manoeuvrability and suspension provide a comfortable ride, while the blade lets you carve some great turns in the snow. Whether you simply want to try something new or enjoy a different experience during your holiday, Yooner promises an outing full of fun and excitement.
About Yooner in La Clusaz
Yooner is easy to learn thanks to its intuitive handling. After a few tips, you’ll gradually get the hang of steering and be able to make the most of the descents. It’s a great alternative to skiing and a fun way to spend time with friends or family while discovering a different way to enjoy the slopes in La Clusaz. For those looking for something extra special, a Yooner Sunset session is also organised during the February school holidays, offering a unique atmosphere as the sun sets.
Schedules
Yooner sessions take place at times scheduled by the ski school, subject to availability. During the February school holidays, a Yooner Sunset session takes place every Wednesday at 5:00 pm. This late-afternoon outing offers a different way to enjoy the slopes and experience the thrill of gliding in a unique atmosphere. Places are limited, so please register directly with the ski school to reserve your session.
Meeting Point and Equipment Hire
The meeting point is in front of La Patinoire. We recommend arriving early enough to collect your equipment, receive the necessary instructions and join the group before departure. Timings may change depending on snow conditions, the weather and the resort’s arrangements.
Ski Pass and Equipment
What to Bring for Yooner
To enjoy Yooner in comfort and safety, please bring full ski clothing, a helmet, goggles or sunglasses, gloves and waterproof footwear. Please note: ski boots are not suitable for Yooner. Warm, comfortable clothing will help you make the most of this snow activity, particularly during late-afternoon sessions.
A ski pass is necessary to access the slopes. You can use the pass you already have for your day or week of skiing. If you don’t have one, you can purchase a pedestrian lift ticket for the Beauregard gondola. Yooner equipment is provided as part of the activity. Finally, please check that your insurance covers any potential cancellations or illness before your session.
